Breaking news: President Akuffo Addo fires Hon. Adwoa Safo

Adwoa Safo Mp for Dome-Kwabenya off her ministerial appointment as minister of gender, children and social protection. Tv and radio morning political show host of Sompa fm and tv at Suame Kumasi, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye is a victim of broken heart. He said this on his show when quizzed by his colleague, Tofiakwa. According to him, he tasted broken heart once as growing up as a young man who was into relationship. For him, it is part of every young man story who you enter into relationship at that stages of life. No more hope for Nabco trainess

maaconewsupdate   Can politicians be trusted? This is a multi million dollar question that Nabco Trainees are asking for an answer. The Nabco builder corp which is affectionately called Nabco was a flagship program introduced by Npp-Akuffo-Addo-Bawumia led government in 2018 aimed to curb and curtail graduate unemployment among the youth. It was also meant to provide platform form for young graduates to attain working experience and employability skills for future employment.  The Nabco program employed 100000 graduates and the duration of the program was 3 years of which 700ghc allowances was given to each trainee at the end of every month. So it started in 2018 and it was to end in 2021. After the end of the program, some graduates would be absorbed into public sector for permanent employment. Increased food prices in Ghana; is it as a result of high fuel prices?

  Food is a basic necessity in life that has to be cheap for everyone humankind to use. This is not the case in Ghana as there is a recent astronomical hike in the prices of foodstuffs and food commodities in the country. The price of food and foodstuffs that used to be sold cheaply cannot be bought now. Recent tour at big regional and district market centre in the country, such Kumasi kejetia market, Kumasi central market, Makola, Madina and Mala-Atta markets in Accra, Ejisu market etc indicated high prices of food and foodstuffs such as yam, plantain, tomatoes, etc in the country. What might have caused the so much increase in the prices of foodstuffs. Government of Ghana to go to IMF for bailout

 The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has ordered the finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to turn International Monetary Fund (IMF) for bailout in Ghana's economic hardship and crisis.  It must be stated that going to IMF for financial bailout comes with a lot conditionalities and dire consequences to the nation. Among of the conditionalities that IMF imposed on the borrowing country are; government stopping employment to the public sector during the period of loan, government inability to do social intervention programs, charging high interest rate on the loan etc. Despite dire consequences that IMF financial bailout bring to the borrowing country, the president of Ghana has instructed his financial minister to go to the IMF for help since the economy of Ghana is badly broken down and it needs a fix.
