Some NPP delegates fix street lights in their community
In this 21st century, anybody or persons bestowed with political power to lead a group of people despite their political background or differences are to champion the development needs of their people.
This and many other aspirations were on the top lists of the current Npp polling station executives in Yaw Nkrumah within the Juaben constituency in Ashanti region who put themselves up for npp polling station executives contest and election in March 5, this year.
Upon their election, they have been in office for close to 4 months and have already started undertaking some development works in their community. Among some of the pressing needs of their community that needed urgent solution was street lightening problem. It was observed that most areas in the community did not have light and darkness engulfed there during the night.
Therefore, the delegates, namely Bismark Acheampong (chairman), Nicholas Adomako Adjei (secretary), Clement Akosa (organizer) and Martin Amoah (youth organizer) have pulled some of their resources together to fix some street lights at vantage points in the community even though that is not part of their core mandate as polling station executives. They do not see themselves only as delegates but agents of development in their area of jurisdiction.
The delegates have assured the community folks of working hand-in-hand with them to bring enough development in the community, Yaw Nkrumah.
This development example by the npp delegates in Yaw Nkrumah polling station should be emulated by all the remaining polling stations in Juaben constituency at large.
