Latest Update on Arise Ghana demonstration:Lawyers threaten to sue police administration

A new update from the Arise Ghana "Krom Aye Hye" Demonstration indicates that, the lawyers of the 29 demonstrators who were apprehended by the police on Tuesday (June 28) when they clashed with the police service have threatened to sue the police administration led by Inspector General of Police (IGP), Akuffo Dampare. 

The reason out by the lawyers led by lawyer Abraham Amaliba is that, if the police continues to keep their clients in their custody for more than 48 hours, it will be a breach on their constitutional rights since the constitution does not permit suspects to be in police custody for more than that period either than arranging them before court. So invariably the lawyers of the 29 arrested protesters in the Arise Ghana demonstration on Tuesday are demanding bail for their clients.

Right now the police administration is quite  and have not responded to the issue.

It must be stated that the day-2 of the Arise Ghana "Krom Aye Hye" demonstration yesterday was conducted peacefully and orderly.

Official launching and inauguration of Npp youth wing at Asawase constituency in Kumasi

Npp youth wing at Juaben constituency and Hon. Francis Owusu-Akyaw support various Christmas gala in the constituency

  In line with vision of the Juaben Constituency Youth wing routine support to the various youth groups across the constituency in their Christmas Football Gala, The Juaben Constituency Youth wing being lead by Hon. BOAITEY KWASI DICKSON were able to solicit for sponsors to assist our youths across the constituency who were able to notice the youths wing on their activities in this Xmas festivities.
